Kayla Patnode, PA-C, our CSLC and RegenCen Master Provider, graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in health promotion from Michigan State University. She graduated in 2023 from Mary Baldwin University, Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences with Masters in Physician Assistant Studies.

She worked previously worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at a nursing home and rehabilitation facility in Lansing, MI and as a Medical Assistant (MA) in a dermatology office in Novi, MI. Kayla completed a PA school rotation in Lansing, MI where she was trained in treating varicose veins, acne, and hormone replacement therapy.

Kayla enjoys helping patients feel more confident and assisting with making their “ideal self” match what they see in the mirror. She loves our regenerative services for helping patients continue to feel like themselves as they move through the journey of life.

Outside of the office, you’ll find Kayla waterskiing (she competed on the Michigan State University waterski team for 4 years and was the first female to serve as men’s captain of the team), disc golf, hiking, and camping.

Brenna Sexton is excited to start offering lash and brow services at CSLC & Regencen’s Chelsea location. Brenna obtained her certification to become a body art technician, focusing on microblading as well as certifications in lash lifts and tints and eyebrow lamination and tints.

Brenna has always been interested in aesthetics and looks forward to enhancing her client’s beauty and to help them feel as GORGEOUS as they are.

In her free time Brenna enjoys designing and creating custom projects for her small business, spending time with family and friends, going up to her family lake house, and traveling.

She also offers health and wellness coaching. This is a physician led, science based “Optavia” program addressing life long changes in health habits. We focus on achieving optimal health: healthy weight, balanced nutrition, increased energy and sleep quality while reducing inflammation.

In 2001, Dr. Gustav Lo opened Cosmetic Skin & Laser Center in Petoskey. The success of this vision led to the Traverse City location in 2009 and Naples in 2022. Dr. Lo was the first to pioneer Smartlipo laser assisted liposuction in northern Michigan. He has trained with many top cosmetic surgeons in the field. In addition, Dr. Lo has also performed hundreds of nonsurgical facelifts with FaceTite, Laser Lift, ThermiTight, and Thread Lift.

During his 30 year career as a Primary Care Physician, Dr. Lo first applied regenerative medical techniques such as PRP injections to orthopedic cases in the early 2000’s; following those successes, he then brought similar techniques to our aesthetic practice.

Our results mirrored the research findings in other centers – regenerative techniques can reverse some degenerative conditions and “youthify” our tissues and physiology. He has performed over 4000 liposuction procedures in Petoskey and Traverse City and thousands of transformational Laser Lift treatments for his patients. He continues to see patients regularly, offering them regenerative therapies for erectile dysfunction, orthopedic conditions, arthritis and male testosterone replacement, was well as supervising our Physician Associates who specialize in women’s care.
